2006 - year of the dog, year of the workshops
The Bellydance Superstars floating through our city were just the beginning of a stellar lineup of workshops and shows for the year of the dog (I'm one ;-) ).
What's next? Lynette Harper from Nanaimo is offering her "In the Moment" improvisation and expression in Middle Eastern dance on March 4th. Studying with Lynette will free your dance soul. Contact Lynette at harpfin@pacificcoast.net
The next day (yup!) is MEDA's Grande Bazaar. Do NOT miss this event. You will swoon and almost faint over the array of glittering, sparkling, beckoning costumes. There will be music, dancing and food too, but glitter may suffice. Start rolling your loonies.
