the feel of a new costume

There is nothing quite like dancing in a new costume. Feeling how the fabric moves against your hips, how the fringe dances as you shimmy, how the veil floats in a turn - it is a wonderful discovery. Particularly when the costume fits like it was tailor made for you ...... even when it wasn't.

Points to consider when buying a new (or new to you) costume:

- does it fit like a glove?
- does it need only major adjustments (like shifting straps or closure snaps)?
- is the skirt long enough on you?
- does the bra give you sweet yet comfortable cleavage?
- does the skirt or belt stay in place on your hips without any gaping?
- does the fabric colour make you light up and sparkle?

If yes, and unless the price is exorbitantly outside of your budget, buy it. The universe sent this costume along your path and it was meant for you.

Thank you to the previous owner of this green and gold gem......she will be danced with delight.
